So you all better be prepared for insanity like this 1988 Buick Skyhawk coupe with 5-SPEED
in ridiculously good condition! This is as Oppo as it gets!

That’s a lot for an old Crap alier coupe...

that is not “Oppo.” I’m old enough to have been around a ton of those cars when they were on the road. They’re utter pieces of shit.
“Oppo” would be a quirky, maybe glitchy car but has some “charm” which justifies putting up with the warts. These J-cars were cranked out by the thousands and they were all just miserable shitboxes. They’ve no charm or any other redeeming qualities. That 2.0 was a head-gasket-blowing piece of crap. The only way this car could be any worse is if it had an Iron fucking Duke underhood.

Oh it is, and I am sure it is terrible....I’m just amazed one exists in that good a shape!

I’m moreso just amazed it exists in present times in the condition it’s in!

My mom had one when I was very young, like in the late 80s, and even then it was constantly problematic. She eventually replaced it with a Century of similar vintage, which was also a turd, and eventually got a 1st gen Taurus in like ‘94. It was less of a turd.

There are some people who simply do not apply wear to their cars. My neighbor’s Ford LTD is somehow still good looking even though I doubt it has ever seen a garage.

Can somebody teach me how to do that to my Accent? I like it quite a bit, even if it is a Korean ecobox...

I like my Cruze quite a bit, but between parking it on dirt and highway shenanigans with flying rocks (lots of them), my ownership was really taken its toll on the exterior, and I think you are in a similar boat.
To do this, you must have a garage.

Humdrum is actually in pretty decent shape on the exterior. There are a few scratches here and there. The worst is a large scrape in the front-right corner of the bumper cover, and large chip/dent on the hood from something that flew up into it on the highway that I had to dab a bunch of touch-up paint into to keep it from rusting :/

I can sympathize with you there, though I cannot seem to figure out what the paint code is to order any. The code is missing from its place on a certain sticker (blank) and the info isn’t turning up in VIN deciders :(

Should be able to figure it out somehow? :(
I was lucky, my car came with a touch up pen for clear and paint! Come to think of it, my old Subaru did as well...
